We are excited to announce that our long-time program name the Ready for Kindergarten (R4K) program is officially changing to the FAMILY SCHOOL NAVIGATION program. This change reflects our continued commitment to supporting families and their children as they navigate school. While the program name is new, our mission and dedication remain the same: To assist young children and school-aged students to succeed in learning by partnering with their families, schools, and communities for promising tomorrows. 

Here is what you can expect from Perch Place:

● Same program, same people. Our staff, services, and support to students and families remain the same. 

● Better reflection of vision. The updated program name better represents the work we do together to assist families and their children through their elementary school years.

● A smooth transition. For a short time, you may see both our previous and new names used (e.g., FAMILY SCHOOL NAVAGATION (formerly Ready for Kindergarten (R4K)*) as we update our materials, 

    website, Facebook page, and other resources.

● No contract changes.

● The new logo is very familiar but reflects the change.
