Perch Place Consulting and Genesis Group of the Mohawk Valley hosted the first annual Regional Education Summit at Hart’s Hill Inn on March 5, 2025.   It was attended by the five local college presidents and sixteen local school district superintendents.  Speakers included Robin Robinson, Owner and President of Perch Place; Dr. Brian Bellair, Whitesboro Central School District Superintendent; Dr. Patricia Kilburn, OHM BOCES District Superintendent, Dr. Todd Pfannestiel, Utica University President, and Dr. Randall VanWagoner, MVCC President.  The event concluded with a group discussion on several key issues affecting education today, including the need for mandatory pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, graduation pathways, and challenging behaviors.
