SEED Certification

Perch Place is Getting SEED Certified

Bringing Science-Backed Behavior & Regulation Strategies to the Children and Families We Serve

Schools partnering with SEED & Sew have reported a
60% reduction in behavior support calls.

At Perch Place, we’re always looking for ways to deepen our impact — and that means investing in the most effective, research-supported approaches available. That’s why our team is currently pursuing certification through SEED & Sew, a nationally recognized professional development program designed to help schools and organizations build calmer, more supportive environments for children.
The SEED framework focuses on the whole child — addressing the root causes of behavior challenges rather than just the symptoms. Through this certification, our staff will be trained in regulation and emotional processing strategies that work for all students, including those who are neurodivergent, navigating trauma, or facing other barriers to learning.
This work aligns directly with Perch Place’s mission: when children feel safe, regulated, and supported, they are far better positioned to learn, grow, and thrive.

What This Means for the Families and Schools We Partner With:

We believe that great outcomes for children start with well-equipped adults. This certification is part of our ongoing commitment to bringing the best possible support to every school and family we serve.
